| This is a girl who typically comes from outside of Europe and has different visa requirements. They are committed to language classes during the day (9-13h30) and are available only in the afternoons (and maybe one morning) They normally work between 15 and 20 hours (maximum) a week. As they attend language courses, they need some time in the evenings to study, we recommend that Demi pairs finish at the very latest by 20h00pm except for babysitting nights. Apart from cooking for the children and very light household duties, Demi pairs offer childcare help only. |
Learn a foreign language!
As au pair you take part in your host family's daily life. You are forced to use the language of your host country and to listen to it during the whole day. Moreover you can train everything you learn at your language school in real life, so that your linguistic skills internalise. Soon you will speak fluently without having to search extensively for words. |
